Places:Start at V7722387130, Caher West Top, Caher, Carrauntoohil, Na Cnámha, Beenkeragh, Knockbrinnea West Top, Knockbrinnea East Top, Stumpa Bharr na hAbhann, Skregmore, Cnoc Íochtair, end at Start Logged as completed by 1
A classic route, adding the two Knockbrinneas. The ridge between Carrauntoohill and Beenkeragh is definitely not for the faint-hearted, and finding my way to the top of Na Cnamha was a bit tricky, as I lost the path at some point, getting me into more scrambling than would have been necessary !! Also note that the descent S/SE of Cnoc Iochtair is rather gentle and is made on firm, grassy ground. I was lucky enough to do this walk on a glorious day, which made it all the more unforgettable !!

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 5h 42m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
