Starting from the Black Road, a great walk under the sunshine, with some stunning views until around 12 when the clouds finally won the race. Though the weather quickly turned windy and wet, visibility remained reasonable and navigation was rather easy W of Galtymore thanks to the wall and the GPS. Be aware that the path that runs along the ridge between Galtybeg and Galtymore is really close to the edge, so care is required in poor visiblity. I then came out of the clouds as I walked down Lyracappul towards Monabrack, and it cleared out progressively as I made my way back to the car. I would recommend leaving one car at King's Yard if two cars available; if not, it might be advisable to seek access permission at the farm R881203 to use the track that leads to the col between Seefin and its N top. I took a more direct route up through the fields to Seefin as it was getting late, but had to cross a gate and a few fences (some electric !!) before ending up in some waist-high heather. A rewarding walk anyway !!
