PMG Walk 64 - Ben Gorm Mountains. The weather forecast for today was that after 12/1pm the weather would get bad. I hoped to stay dry but sadly the wind driven rain soaked me by the end of the walk! The walking up and down the ridges was lovely and well worth the extra effort. Sadly only proper views were briefly seen from Ben Creggan however views from the ridges were quite nice with the cloud swirling over them and clearing at times! As the morning went on the weather got worse and the rain came down!!! I also have to add the true summit on Ben Gorm is rather "hard" to say which is which but I have to agree with "rmilne" and say it is (L86174 65239 A)(he has marked it as point A). There is cairn near to it, just meters away/maybe even at this cairn. The lower cairn which has the summit marker at is lower / was lower on my GPS, plus I walked slightly uphill to the next cairn. Anyone else confirm this before I change/update the marker?

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 5h 20m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
