Length: 11.2km, Creator time taken: 3h14m, Ascent: 692m,
Descent: 695m

Places: Start at L85017 62467, Búcán, Leenaun Hill Far North-West Top, Leenaun Hill, end at Start

Circuit taking in Leenaun Hill and Bucan, beginning from west of Leenaun at V85017 62467.

Heads south from the N59, using an old rough entrance to the hillside, over a curious set of hillocks and a couple of ridges, onto Bucan and along the ridge to Leenaun Hill. Rather than descending to the R336, the track heads back towards the N59, just east of the hotel and emerges through a shared entrance to the road.

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 24m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
