Trailtrekker: Track 2640 in area near Faughil, Cooley/Gullion (Ireland)
Faughil
Length: 2.4km, Creator time taken: 31m50s, Ascent: 116m,
Descent: 122m

Places: Start at J06618 18322, Faughil, end at Start
Logged as completed by 2

Permission was sought and readily granted at the house at the start of the track (did check that I had no dogs, as there are sheep on the hill). I was encouraged even to park my car in their yard. They sell free range eggs and at a good price! So as thank you for the permission I bought their last half dozen.

The track starts from the back of the house and is stone track the whole way to the summit, which this track shows that I explored a bit before returning the way (pretty much) that I came.

For more information on this hill refer to summit comments.

COMMENTS
No comments uploaded yet.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 41m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
