Starting out from the old lead works car park the route up Camaderry is pretty straight forward and none of the terrain is particularly bad (definitely not by Wicklow standards anyway!) On reaching the eastern side of the ridge (spot height 677M) there are well worn tracks to the summit proper and as far as fencing around the reservoir. From here it a case of skirting around the side of the fence before breaking out to try and locate the summit proper of Tomaneena! Then it is back down towards the reservoir and following the access road down to the Wicklow Gap car park. There are way markings here for St Kevins way, the track then follows this back for the next few km.
Warning: When the waymarking directs back towards the road I chose to try and navigate my way back without going back on to the road and this lead to getting two wet feet crossing the Glendassan river!
