The Loughash Wedge Tomb is extensively signposted in the vicinity of Lough Ash and is well worth seeing...alas, 'parking' is a lot less extensive than 'signage' and care will be required not to block passage or access for others. From the road a gate can be hopped over into the field containing the (obvious) tomb; continue past this, following footmarks straight up into the next field. Soon you are faced with a rock outcrop; outflank this on the left and an overgrown track leads to a gate giving access to the tussocky summit area.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 25m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
