Places:Start at S27050 01570, Coumaraglin Mountain, end at Start Logged as completed by 1
Coumaraglin is easily reached from the starting point on the road to the south. Parking at a wide Coillte entrance, it is a climb of 300m over bog to the summit. There is a large coum a couple of hundred meters to the east of the summit which is well worth viewing. I then followed the edge of the coum south for a while to enjoy the views before veering away southwest to head down to my car. Be careful if going near the coum edges. There is a horrible metal structure to support masts at the summit, and another curious large transmitter device low to the ground near the coum edge. If you can ignore these you will enjoy the walk!

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 1h 53m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
