Pyrenees 2013: This is a route with great views of the Ordesa Valley and the area above Gavarnie to the north including the Brecha de Rolando. It starts from the Ordesa valley and uses ascends quickly via tracks through the forest to Punta Acuta. This particular route also included La Cuta 2242m. A longish section of the route is then on a drivable road. Astonishingly there was the odd tour bus here. It then gradually descends to Cuello Arenas and follows a series of roads and shortcuts to Nerin.

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 5h 28m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
