A variation on Wickore's track 2065 - this route starts from the public road. The track Wicklore seems to have driven up is not now passable in anything other than a 4x4.

I asked permission to use the track at the house immediately on the left (S313327) and was invited to park in their yard. There are in fact two tracks, one passing each side of the house - if time allows it is possible to ascend one and descend the other making a nice circular walk. The track on the right is the quickest, the lady of the house advised and, given the time I had, I opted for this.

Easy up and down, perfectly doable in 45 minutes.
