This linear walk starts from the high road on the saddle between Mullaghclogha and Dart Mountain. Go west over boggy and wet ground over Mullaghdoo, not currently an MV summit, but one of the "Five Mullaghs" and then on up to Mullaghclogha. From Mullaghclogha, which must be one of the least spectacular VLs, follow the ridge and fence to Mullaghsturrakeen, Mullaghclogher and Mullaghcarbatagh. In mist be careful to select the correct fence to follow.
Views include the parallel ridge of around 400m with Craignamaddy, Mullaghbolig to the south, Dart Mtn and Sawel to the east. In mist this walk has a sense of isolation and solitude, mitigated somewhat by the fence.
