I always enjoy walking in Donegal because it is mostly unspoilt with telephone towers and walker damage etc. The only ingredient that was missing today was the stunning views which I know are there because the mists thinned from time to time to give a tantalising glimpse of what was on offer. For this reason I will definately repeat this walk in better weather. Although the tops were very windy the rain stayed away so all in all an enjoyable walk.

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 2h 12m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
