After a great night at the annual talks and awards event and a welcome chance to meet people and personalities from mountain views two intrepid mountain viewers set off for the wicklow hills on Saturday morning.... What a fine walk over Maulin and Tonduff! The walk started with clear visability and good footing over frozen ground all to the way to the summit of Tonduff. As someone who regularly walks in the Sperrins and Innishowen the shear numbers who walk in the Wicklow hills and the associated erosion is indeed a sight to behold!
On the return leg of the trip it started to snow quite heavily which IMO really enhanced the walking experience. A thoroughly enjoyable walk to top off a great friday night event.

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 4h 20m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
