simon3: Track 2012 in area near Cummeen, Central Dingle (Ireland)
A circuit in Central Dingle.
Length: 20.8km, Creator time taken: 8h50m, Ascent: 1358m,
Descent: 1319m

Places: Start at Q61998 08561, Cummeen, Knocknakilton, Dromavally Mountain, Beenoskee, Stradbally Mountain, end at Start
Logged as completed by 2
Initially the route goes up a well surfaced road. There is then a fairly tedious climb to Cummeen followed by a long westerly ridge walk before taking in Beenoskee and Stradbally. From there is a long bumpy descent to the east with some walking on a well prepared road to the start.

Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 6h 25m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
