Rough Tor summit area...it all kicks off here in Jamaica Inn
A very easy stroll on a hazy summer evening. The climb to Rough Tor is up the most benign grassy slope imaginable, although the scramble to the utmost point is good fun. The onward journey is initially over boulders, but then more grass ensues before an obvious and straightforward path leads to the less interesting but higher Brown Willy.

On the return it is better to aim right of the summit of Rough Tor to regain the route of ascent...this avoids the boulders.
