A short but draining walk across some very boggy ground: bring gaiters! There is a track that goes most of the way to Shehy More from just east of Lough Nambrackderg, but that would be cheating right? For variety I went west of Lough Nambrackderg on the way back. I would suggest you keep to higher ground than is shown on the track back from Shehy SW as the northern side of the Shehy ridge is very boggy. It's well worth going up to the spot height of 336m above Lough Nambrackderg as there are nice views of Shehy's, Douce and Doughill.
