I got some of this route from the Mountain Views list of tracks - see Ireland, Tomaneena, Dublin/Wicklow - Thanks to march-fixer. First part from Glendalough to Camaderry is missing from the track.

The walk starts from Glendalough upper lake car park. 4 euro needed to park there - make sure you have the change. From the car park, walk back towards the entrance and take a left towards the Education centre which is down the road beside the lake at 50 metres. Just after the Education Centre turn right to take the track uphill towards Camaderry. It's a big track at the beginning and easy to find all the way up. Still grassy though and not worn.

Then headed North West to Camaderry itself which is about 25 metres higher. The road down to the Wicklow gap is pretty easy and we saw two other walkers heading straight up Tonelegee on the other side of the road. We picked up the signs for Kevin's Way with the yellow monk. This is straight down by the Glendassan River. The path all the way back to Glendalough follows on the right hand side of the river and passes an old miners village. Lots of remnants of that activity still there - pyro - morphite was what was mined. Eventually you hit the main road between the hotel in Glendalough and the lower lake ( near the round tower) and we made our way along the boardwalk and joined the Glendalough daytrippers as we walked the 800m back to the Upper Lake Car park.
