This is the track of an investigation to check the height and prominence of Carrigshouk in the Wicklow Mountains. The issue at stake is whether or not the summit has the prominence (height above highest col to a more prominent summit) to be in the Arderins. In this case the col in question leads to Mullaghcleevaun East Top.
As well as this track, accurate measurements were taken with a Trimble surveying GPS and when the results are known we will publicise them. Should the prominence be over 30m then Carrigshouk would be included in the Arderin list.

Later addition. It turned out after post processing the data that the prominence was 31.0 metres to the nearest .1m so Carrigshouk is deemed an Arderin.
