From Foel -fras there is a very long walk out along the edge of the forest and valley heading roughly north with a few fences, stiles and a good few boggy areas to cross. Eventually after 3 km or so you come to the final ascent to the summit which is marked with a stone wind shelter. This peak is a mere metre short of 600 metres Linkback:
