We went over bridge from Broughton Mills and followed the permissive track by Hesket hall and headed in a north westerly direction. The Hills crags very impressive on the way up with the summit marked by a trig pillar Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B2663/comment/23044/

Final part of horseshoe down the east side of valley
by Fergalh
3 May 2021
After Stickle Pike we headed down to the Stickle Tarn for lunch. From there we headed north to Parkehead road Top and than south east to the track and the head of the valley than south down the far side. We took in Ravens Crag and Ravens Crag (Wainwright) before finishing at The Knott. From here it was south to the narrow lane which lead back to Broughton Mills the starting point. Small hills but a great horseshoe . Although with numerous false summits and ups and downs one to do on a clear day ! Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B2663/comment/23046/
