A large Irish connection....

The village of Banwen where you start the walk to Hirfynydd is made interesting for Irish people by one of its most famous sons. St Patrick was born here and there are some plaques and a brief history near the forest entrance in a small green area Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/b2277/comment/21537/
