Carrickbyrne Hill: Very overgrown but passable

Tievummera Highpoint: An obvious stop along the ridge

Faha Ridge: Testing ridge with narrow irregular path. Often extreme.

Hare Island: A very pleasant four hours

East trek along track to mines followed by wet heather bash

Parked at Muiresheils country park and took the track to the remains of the bauxite mines which was round 4 km. From here a romp across wet, heathery rough ground and over the shoulder of Burnt Law lead to a fence which lead to the summit and a trig pillar Linkback:
