There's an access road that takes you up to the gates of the former Saxa Vord RAF facility. The fence is broken in places allowing you to walk to the top. There's rather a spooky abandoned atmosphere about the place in this remote yet rugged spot. A bench by the site allows more comfortable views South of Unst & Yell beyond with Muckle Flugga across the bay below. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/B1530/comment/23991/
