Central Glenbeigh Horseshoe - 3 lakes and 4 peaks

Carrickbyrne Hill: Very overgrown but passable

Long walk for one Carn.

Tievummera Highpoint: An obvious stop along the ridge

Energy sapping trudge over, rough, sponge-like terrain.

Croaghonagh: Broad tracks all the way to top.

Dull trek up forest tracks

Faha Ridge: Testing ridge with narrow irregular path. Often extreme.

Hare Island: A very pleasant four hours

Beakeen

Garinish Island: White-tailed sea eagles on Gairinish

Iron Bridge, Croaghanmoira and Ballyteige circuit.

Short trek to summit

Park to west on grass verge on narrow lane and follow right of way tracks to trees. The summit area has remains of old ring fort. The unmarked summit is in the trees nearby Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/B5358/comment/21899/
