From Pen Trum Gwr head south east along fenceline. A small descent and a slightly bigger ascent awaits before you get to summit marked with a small pile of stones Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B3434/comment/22633/

Three large cairns on the ridge
by Fergalh 18 Mar 2021
As you head south east along the ridge after the summit. There are a number of very impressive cairns topped with quartz along the ridge. These are on the minor summit of Trum Gelli. In fact the summit cairn of Tarren Cwm-ffernol is the least impressive on the ridge. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B3434/comment/22634/
