Short steep climb

Parked to south west on Layby on the A487. Here you have two choices walk north along the busy A487 to sign and stile or cross road and use stile and walk parallel north to road on rough ground which is far safer. After walking along the rough ground we turned north east at the second stile and followed the rough track up over rocky steep ground to the unmarked summit which is at the forest edge Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/B3431/comment/22879/

In this photograph some of the linear ridge walk can be seen. Well worth the climb Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/B3431/comment/22881/
