Bagging across the water
by paddyhillsbagger 3 Mar 2014
Well, as I was in the UK for a conference I thought I'd continue some hill bagging. This pretty little top is actually a county top and from it's summit you can see most of that county below you. The only downside is the vast quarry that the hill rises out off, however a pair of Peregrine seemed to be quite happy flying around it. I started in Vercor Close at A (SK458 140) and followed the Ivanhoe Way and forest paths to the top. .http://www.hill-bagging.co.uk/CountyTops.php is a useful site for bagging tops in the UK. Followed Paddyhillsbagger's excellent route to prominent summit with trig pillar but the view of the quarry not what you usually get on a hill Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B2873/comment/21469/
