My first one of yorkshire's famous 3 peaks

Parked to West just off Thornton lane on a lane leading west again near the high point of the road. Walked back down road to gate and crossed and headed up the hill (as Thornton Lane is over 400 metres only 300 metres to climb !) Followed track to summit which has a wall running along ridge and crowds that had climbed the more popular routes from the Ingleton area. The summit is marked by a trig pillar Linkback:
