High Point of the horseshoe

The walk to Fairfield was straight forward along the track from Great Rigg the track eventually widened out to a largely flat area marked by a small cairn. The snow was quite extensive here so our plans to nip over to nearby Cofa Pike was abandoned as with no ice axes the short steep descent would have been too hazardous Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B2521/comment/22454/
