Long trek to summit
by Fergalh 14 Jan 2021
From Ullock Pike a long walk back to Carl Side is followed by the long descent off Carl Side. After dropping south for a good while a detour west along forest tracks leads to the summit of Dodd. This has an unusual monument marking the summit. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B2349/comment/22078/

The view from summit
by Fergalh 14 Jan 2021
After a great days climbing the unfortunate part is a long walk back to the car at Latrigg car park along country lanes. But there was a long last look at Skiddaw from below and the view towards Keswick and other peaks left to conquer Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/B2349/comment/22079/
