Ronas Hill is an amazing hill to bag. The flora & fauna attracts many folks to wander it's slopes hunting for rarities. Easily reached from Collafirth Hill A (HU334 835) where a steep but driveable access road reaches to ample space for a few cars. Head downhill roughly WNW then up to cairns on Mid Field where the steeper rocky slopes of Ronas Hill rise up after another short dip. A Mountain Hare stood guard near a rocky cairn & there is a trig point enclosed by short wall with a visitors book in a metal box contains that I happily read a wide variety of hikers who also enjoyed this spot.
