Park at car park to North and follow trail through forest to trig pillar and memorial monument. The monument seems slightly higher than the trig pillar. Linkback:

The Pincyn Llys monument at the summit was put there by Lord Bagot in 1830 to commemorate the first planting of the forest. The entire forest was cut down during the first world war to provide the wood to build the trenches and was replanted again in
