Passed Coumfea twice on Sunday 6th October. 2nd time was at about 3.15pm and just below the top of the spur, on the way down, I witnessed the Brocken Spectre. This is the 5th time I have seen this phenomenon and, once again, I had no camera with me to capture the moment. It was a particularly brilliant one as well with the real bright inner halo. So far, I've seen it on Knockanaffrin, Galtymore, and Coumfea. Trackback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/88/comment/170/
