This peak is unnamed on OS maps. It lies on the boundary of the townlands of Derrynafulla and Coomarkane. Any information on the correct name of this hill would be welcome. Having been unable to defend Dunboy Castle against the English cannons, it was from Derrynafulla (Ir. Doire na Fola, 'oak-grove of the blood') that Donal Cam O'Sullivan Beare regrouped his forces and followers on December 31st 1602 before their arduous and perilous march northwards to meet the O'Rourkes in Leitrim.
Derrynafulla SW is the 1007th highest place in Ireland. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/872/
