Worth a short detour
by Onzy  9 Apr 2013
Visited this summit in February 2013 as part of a circuit of Cummeengeera (see track 2089 for full route). The hill is reached by a short detour off the route to Lackabane from the valley floor. A very stiff 400m ascent up a wide gully. You are unlikely to descend the same way - even Joss Lynam recommends avoiding that, though he does mention that a descent east of Tooreenbaha is possible.

The summit itself is an attractive prow shape with potential views into both Cummeengeera and Glanmore. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/798/comment/14968/
