Easy to combine with several other tops..
Short Summary created by Harry Goodman  22 Aug 2013
Leave the R253 at G968963 starA and follow a minor road S and then SW for 5 km to off road parking at G9372493563 starB. Walk west along the road for 1.2km to G9262693317 starC where a gate crosses it. Go through, leave the road and turn right (NW) uphill along a fence line on the right. Follow up to a noticeable rocky knoll at G9197793632 starD. This gives access to the long and broad summit ridge with the high point G9168883565 starE, still some 300 metres further along and passing a small lough on the way.. The ground is a mix of grass covered peat and some rocks. There are close up views S across the Reelan Valley to Silver Hill and Lavagh More and further along the Bluestacks ridge E to the triangular profile of Gaugin Mt. A walk out and back of 5km. Most likely however to be climbed as part of a longer circuit covering a number of tops. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/754/comment/5513/
