Long trek to summit
by Fergalh  9 Jan 2023
Parked North east of Caherdaniel at 555060 starB and head up road north east until tarmac ran out. Followed the zigzag track until 555623 starC and turned right. At 562630 starD turned north west for short walk over heather to Mullaghbeg. From here a descent and rise with a few fences crossed leads to the unmarked summit of Beenrour. The cole between Mullaghabeg and Beenrour can be wet in places. The trek is worth it for the extensive views overlooking Waterville. Returned the same way and than onto Cahernageeha and Farraniaragh. Small hills but great views, well worth the effort. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/745/comment/23797/
