Toppled trig pillar
by Colin Murphy  23 Jul 2021
There is sufficient parking at T02728 57076 A B for several cars. From here I followed csd's route up the zigzagging tracks all the way to the summit. It was a beautiful day, very hot and but for the heat haze there were distant panoramas in all directions. The scenery was more pleasant than spectacular. One point of note is that the trig pillar, which had been cramped up against a metal fence, has now been toppled. The presence of empty cider cans nearby suggest yobbos had a hand in this as thery're not the sort of thing the wind knocks over. Amazing where some idiots find their amusement.
