Left Right Left, goodboy!
by eamonoc  3 Jan 2014
Thursday 2/01/2014. Climbed Slieveboy today, my approach was from the Village of Askamore I drove up a rough track beside the church past a waterworks and further on a liitle white cottage on my left then the track steepened sharply and deteriorated badly and I was unable to drive any further so I parked my car on the left at a forest entrance. I walked steeply uphill for about 5mins and reached T026575 A and followed directions from previous Mt View comments, Left, Right, Left on excellent forest tracks and made my way to Summit amongst all the masts, nobody here trying gain a few extra feet! looked towards Carrigroe Hill and so back to Car by outward route and here we go again!
