Magic mountain

I approached from Teer to the east by following the Dingle Way yellow marker posts in thick mist, accompanied by the trusty viewranger GPS for good measure. There was an other worldly atmosphere by the time I reached the snow covered col and followed the fence north to the summit.

I was very lucky that the mist cleared before I descended by the same route after visiting pierasmore, offering me this view to the west.

A special place not quickly forgotten.

I hope to return some day having confirmed from the comments on MV my suspicion that the east ridge adds another dimension to this beauty. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/66/comment/19879/
