This is a shoulder of Blackstairs Mountain lying completely in Co. Wexford. Note that there is another hill of this name NW of Mount Leinster, though it is spelt Slievebawn in English.   Slievebaun is the 765th highest place in Ireland.

MountainViews.ie Picture about mountain Slievebaun (<i>Sliabh Bán</i>) in area Blackstairs Mountains, Ireland
Picture: Slievebaun from the south.

Coming from the south.

We set out from S80912 40986 starA hoping to find a route that would include Slievebaun into a longer route along the southern Blackstairs to White Mountain with a return to the starting place.
If you look at the photo, you can see a white spot in the distance just left of centre. It's to the left of a tongue of dark green forestry extending from the right of the picture.
This white spot is part of a water works, one of a number in the area. We went towards it, but found the going to there and then to Slievebaun to be on difficult terrain, with stretches of unclear access. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/637/comment/23763/
