Not unusual for the Shannon Area a summit located in the middle of a wind farm but it sure makes access easy especially in this case as a marked trail runs thru it. Parking at the entrance R9026654933 C head for wind turbine T15 and just before same enter field thru farm gate heading for point R9104955949 D this will allow you an easy stroll to the summit without the problems associated with walking over felled forestry or thru planted trees.
