Picture: Lough Cummer and Knocknagorraveela NE on the right
A grassy knoll, but not a president in sight. The distant views are nice, but the best views of Lough Cummer are from the col between here and Derrysallagh.
Access is possible from the west via Derrysallagh and the Beara Way or from the east where one can park at A (V895 365) (2 cars) cross the road and the fence, ascend the steepish ridge, handrail the forest and enjoy nice views all the while. Access is also possible from Knocknagorraveela from the SW.

Peter Walker on Knocknagorraveela NE Top

For anyone walking round the head of Gleninchaquin it's worth extending the trip to include Cummer Top: in itself, merely a grassy mound, but the extra kilometre or so from Knocknagorraveela puts the view north to Iveragh into better balance, in my humble opinion, removing the foreground of Derrysallagh and Feorus East. The pic is looking to the Reeks in a late afternoon in spring. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/566/comment/3776/

As Peter Walker observes, the summit of this top is completely a innocuous bump of grassy turf. More impressive is the ascent from the col between it and Derrysallagh, with great views of Cummer Lough towards Kenmare and some sharp cliff faces cut into the mountain side.
