Having not been up Tibradden for a couple of years I found the new boardwalk and gravel trail a little disappointing. While it was never remotely difficult to start with I think having a path to the summit removes all the fun! Still some great views from the top. Walked up from the carpark and followed the trail to the Wicklow Way and saw a few deer on the way. Not too keen to undertake that walk today I turned back. When I got to the burial site again there were a couple of fellas doing some ritual; purple flag pinned to the side with candles and chanting! All very strange!!!
