This peak is on the ridge separating the Devil's Punchbowl from Lough Erhogh and the Horses Glen.   Mangerton North Top is the second highest mountain in the Mangerton area and the 57th highest in Ireland.

Took in Mangerton North Top (as first of 5 summits) in a circuit of Mangerton/Stoompa. Approached from track on northern edge of Devils Bowl that leads to the scarp between Mangerton's two tops. Picture taken from aforementioned track. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/56/comment/3723/
