Parking for 2 cars at A (V39494 62868). Walk about 30m back down road, turn up grassy track, cross gate and follow track to col at B (V39393 63046). Turn SW and follow track up gentle slope for about 400m. High point is a grassy mound just NE of tower ruin.

Picture: Skelligs from the watchtower
A hidden Gem in plain sight
by Fergalh 20 Sep 2022
Parked at Car park C (V388 649) and followed the Bolus Loop Walk, this is around 9m km long and is worth every step. For those who can't afford the very pricey trips to the Skelligs this is the closet you can get. Fortunately we walked this on a beautiful day and even saw whales at the bottom of the cliffs. The final ascent to the watchtower is spectacular, however nothing to the panorama at the summit. There are views of the Skelligs from nearly all of the track, it may be a small hill but it is worth the effort ! Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/5132/comment/23660/
