Great views for virtually no effort.
Short Summary created by markmjcampion  8 Sep 2020
I saw this hill as I was heading east from Fenit and figured the views might be nice so i headed on up. I parked about 200m west of the hill on a minor road...plenty of space. From there I walked east for a couple of minutes until a farm gate on the left lead me through a fields and up through some scrub to the summit which is grazed and so is capped with short grass and should be able to make out a faint track through the scrub as you approach it. I enjoyed the summit, both as a relaxing 30 minute escape from the traffic and for the expansive views of Fenit, Tralee Bay and the Slieve Mish mountains. Also had views of workmen working on the proposed Tralee to Fenit greenway. Headed back down the same way. Linkback:
