22 Nov 2010 - what a day!
by jkforde  26 Nov 2010
Walked the horseshoe on the 22nd Nov and what a day! Started from the sluices at bottom of Doo Lough (parked the car across the road in a roadside worn patch); up steep, safe grassy gully - phone pic is from the top of this section, it was like something from Lord of the Rings! Rest was plain sailing and back to car via the forestry track north of SE ridge. I rank it one of the best walks I've ever done. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/51/comment/6167/
