The only way to access this summit is by asking permission of the farmer located at A (S69259 09113). Unfortunate for the cows i disturbed him at milking time but he was quite happy to show me the way to the trig which he explained was damaged some years back by the kids looking for some buried treasure.But he did stress the name of the hill is Crooke Hill as Knockparson is the next town land although a double seated stone chair which was constructed circa 1850 and located on the hill is known as the parson's chair.
