One place to start is around
Ardmor (B7965 1909) on a public road servicing a number of holiday homes. There is a bank of a few metres to be climbed before open rough ground is reached. Unfortunately this bank has briers and is difficult for a while. Near the top of the bank is an illuminated 6 pointed star. It has seen better days and was used at Christmas.The top has a trig pillar. To the SE there is a quarry. To the west is a lower subsidiary top known as Moorlagh (An Murlach).

Great place for a wide view of the NW Donegal Coast.

Annagry Hill overlooks a substantial estuary from the coast near Bunbeg and ending some 7km inland to the west of the hill.
The photo show this shallow estuary at low tide. It is completely covered at high tide.

Another view from Annagry Hill. Looking NE and to the left of the picture is Cronalaght with its windmills. Tievealehid is behind this with Carntreena a slight bump on the adjacent skyline.

Annagry Hill is best known (except to map-makers!) as Cnoc a' Diaraigh. There's even a song about it (try "http://www.rte.ie/radio/utils/radioplayer/rteradioweb.html#!rii=b17%5A (F1036 1044)%5F1722%5F10%2D01%2D2015%5F" at 10:29 ).
